NYAS: First Look at The 2015 Challenger and Charger

2015 Challenger

They’re back, just like we said they would be. The Scat Pack is looking fresh in 2015 livery with a new look inside and out. Respectively, as you’ll see.

The 2015 Challenger can’t change too much by its very nature. It still retains the classic profile of the 1970s, with some updates to the front and rear – can you say “LED?” – and Dodge is offering several bright new color options. The real modern influence shows on the revised interior. A new information screen between the instruments and an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Chrysler’s Uconnect system infuse the Challenger with modern technology, while redesigned front seats feature a selection of upholstery options.

Meanwhile, the 2015 Charger has almost entirely new outer plating. Only the roof and rear panels carry over. The rest have been hammered into a leaner look that’s every bit as muscular as ever. Head on shows the most notable change with a wider grille that flares into new LED fringed headlamps. The hood also bares new grooves that give the car’s face a sharp appearance. Within, there are eight different trim packages to choose from.

Of course each car also retains the historic power of the Dodge brand. To find out more about the 2015 Challenger, check out this write-up from Car and Driver.
