The Jeep Altitude Lineup Will Take You Higher

Jeep Altitude

While we’re experiencing weather that is usually reserved for some higher altitudes, let’s take a brief moment to talk about the Jeep Altitude editions of some of your favorite models.

Just like the Patriot and the Compass before them, the Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler are all being bestowed with their own Altitude trim. The Cherokee Altitude will be offered with a choice of front-wheel and four-wheel drive, and 2.4-liter four-cylinder or 3.2-liter V6 (good for 271 horsepower). It comes in black, white, silver, or granite, and also includes black accents on the grille and roof rails.

The Grand Cherokee Altitude is based on the Laredo, but it gets similar black accents around its fog lights, fascia, bezels, and elsewhere. It comes with custom 20-inch, five-spoke wheels, black leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power sunroof, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Remote start, auto-dimming rearview mirror, alarm, heated seats, and backup camera are standard, along with too many other features for us to list. It’s also powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, so you’ll have 290 horsepower to work with.

Lastly, the Wrangler Altitude, similar to the Polar Edition, draws from the Sahara model. The high-end version features black accents, 18-inch wheels, and the “freedom” top, as well as a 3.6-liter V6, and a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Choose from either a two-door or a four-door version.
