2014 NAIAS: The 2015 Chrysler 200

We knew it was coming, but now it’s official: The 2015 Chrysler 200 debuted at the North American International Auto Show this morning, and it proves it was worth the wait.

More slender and crisp than the previous version, the 200 has a look of its own, leaving any semblance of the Sebring behind it. This car has a wider, more stable platform and comes with the option for a 2.4-liter Tigershark I-4 engine or the trusted 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, both making use of a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is available, featuring a system that disconnects the rear axle from the drive train to save gas. The interior is reportedly far improved over the 2011 model, too, and sources say that the 2015 Chrysler 200 will start with a lower asking price than its predecessor.
